PM Pluss is a cleaning company that was established in 2010, and is a subsidiary of P/F Poul Michelsen. We have about 120 employees and about 17 nations in our company. In PM Pluss you also find our newest company “Veitsla.fo”

We offer cleaning at the highest level with sustainability in mind. Our knowledge and skills enable institutions, offices, shops and productions companies to confidently choose PM Pluss as their supplier

 

Data Protection Information

This data protection notice provides insight into how Poul Michelsen Group (“we”, “us”, “our”) processes personal data. The information is addressed to all parties from whom we collect or receive personal information such as our guests, customers, employees or our suppliers and partners or from other third parties.

The Poul Michelsen Group includes the wholesale company P/F Poul Michelsen, the cleaning company P/F PM-Pluss including veitsla.fo, the food production company P/F Kjøtbúðin and the transport company Sp/f Atlas Flutningur. Our business is run by both physical suppliers and online stores.

Our processing of personal data

Poul Michelsen is the data controller for the processing of the personal data registered about you. As the controller, it is our duty to ensure that the processing meets the requirements that apply at any given time in accordance with the rules in the Data Protection Act.

Poul Michelsen hereby informs you of several circumstances and rights that you have under the Data Protection Act. This notice describes in detail how Poul Michelsen Group processes and protects personal data for which we are responsible.

 

 

Poul Michelsen is mainly obliged to report:

– The purpose of our processing of personal data,

– What our authority for the repair is,

– what types of personal data are processed, and

– potential recipients of the information.

Poul Michelsen is responsible for the personal data of employees, customers, partners and suppliers in connection with our activities and services.

Processing of personal data is always carried out based on this notice. Poul Michelsen may in certain cases send or issue special information on the processing of personal data, if the processing is not satisfactorily described in this letter.

As a rule, Poul Michelsen does not transfer personal data to another third country. However, we may use selected IT providers headquartered or processing information in a third country, including the United States. In such cases, we ensure that agreements in accordance with the standard provisions are concluded with the supplier.

Our processes as a data controller

The personal data we collect, and process depends on the services we provide and the nature of our relationship. Below you can read about how we collect and process personal data in connection with our services.

Visitors to our websites
Purpose: We process personal data to provide certain services, e.g. buy online, order product with more. In addition, the site uses certain cookies that record information about the visitor’s device (computer/laptop/smartphone) to improve our site and provide the visitor with a better experience.

Authorization for processing: We process the information based on the consent of the data subject, cf. Section 8, para. 1, no. 1 of the Data Protection Act, which will be requested at the pop-up window on the first visit. Based on consent, we may also collect information for other third parties (including Facebook and Google) that are used for our marketing efforts.

 

In addition, the processing is based on our legitimate interest, when we carry out internal analyses of the traffic on the Internet to improve the functionality of the site and the experience of the visitor, cf. Section 8, para. 1, no. 6 of the Data Protection Act.

 

‍Types of Personal Information: Our websites record personal information about the device, IP address, and cookie settings of the visitor. Further information about the information we collect on our websites can be found on the relevant page. This information is available on the pop-up window that appears on the first visit to the site.

Digital Communication
Purpose: The purpose of our processing is to be able to communicate with our customers, employees, partners and suppliers. In addition to being visible on social platforms.
Authorization for the repair: The repair is based on our legitimate interest in connection with our need to be able to communicate in connection with the day-to-day operation of the company and to be able to have descriptions on social media, cf. § 8, para. 1, no. 6 of the Data Protection Act.
‍Types of personal data: We process general personal data such as name, job title and other information that may be included in the communication. The digital communication may also include information about another third party that the sender sends to us.

Sales | Buy from online stores
Purpose: The purpose of our processing is to be able to process sales on our website and to be able to provide you with the ordered product.
Authorization for the repair: The repair is necessary in order to keep or enter into an agreement with the customer (purchase agreement)
‍Types of Personal Information: We typically record personal information about such as name, email, telephone and address. We also record the necessary payment information to process the payment.
Source: The information comes from the customer when he or she orders a product.

 

Job Applications
Purpose: The purpose of the processing is to be able to process job applications in addition to assessing the applicant’s skills for an open or future job with us.
Authorization for the processing: The processing is based on our legitimate interest in connection with our processing and assessment of the applications, cf. § 8, para. 1, no. 6 of the Data Protection Act.

 

In certain cases, an applicant may give us consent to keep the application for a limited period, if a replacement position should be available later, cf. § 8, para. 1, no. 1 of the Data Protection Act.

‍Types of Personal Information: We process standard personal information that the applicant submits to us, including name, address, phone number, and email as well as other information, such as resumes, test scores, photographs, and other materials.
‍Source: The information comes from the applicant. In a single recruitment process, we may also search for publicly available information about the registered person on the Internet as well as on social media.
Retention period: Job applications will be retained until the recruitment process is completed. Unsolicited applications will be deleted 24 months after receipt.

 

Management of Supplier Partnerships
Purpose: The processing is necessary for us to be able to manage our contracts with suppliers and to provide and receive goods and services from our suppliers.
Authorization for the repair: The repair is based on our legitimate interest, which is to be able to carry out our supplier cooperation in addition to developing our services, cf. § 8, para. 1, no. 6.
‍Types of personal data: We process general information about the provider, as well as contact information of certain employees of the provider.
‍Source: Information comes from the supplier or the supplier’s staff.

 

Monitoring Requirements
Purpose: The repair is necessary for us to comply with legislative & authority requirements.
Authorization for the repair: The repair is necessary for us to comply with our legal obligations pursuant to Art. § 8, para. 1, no. 3.
‍Types of personal data: The data we process depends on the legal & authority requirements we are subject to. It can be information for accounts, food requirements and the like. Processed personal data may, among other things: include name and contact information, purchase and order information.
‍Source: Information is usually produced in-house when it is collected in connection with other treatment.

 

Receivers of data?

Service providers: We use various services and IT providers in our day-to-day operations. This includes providers of booking systems, online stores, management and hosting of website solutions, as well as providers of internal IT systems for own administration and operation. When external IT providers process personal data on our behalf, where we are responsible, we ensure that the necessary agreements are made with the providers concerned to ensure adequate data protection.

Banks and payment providers: In connection with payment for purchased goods and services, we cooperate with banks and payment providers. Personal information, such as name, payment information, and order information, may be disclosed to these providers to process payments securely.

Transport providers: In connection with the transport of ordered goods, we cooperate with transport providers. In this case, the name, contact information and information about the booking can be provided to the transport provider to ensure a smooth processing.

Police and public authorities: If necessary, relevant information may be provided to the police in connection with the establishment of theft or other illegal activity. We may also be required to disclose personal data to public authorities. This may include TAKS, the Social Welfare Service, the Labor and Fire Inspectorate, the National Board of Health or other relevant authorities, in accordance with applicable regulations.

 

IT Security and Data Protection

We respect your right to privacy and have implemented technical and structural measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of your personal data.

Under the Data Protection Act, you have several rights, described in more detail in Chapter 4 of the Data Protection Act. The rights are as follows:

You have e.g. the right to access your personal data, to delete information that the Poul Michelsen Group no longer has a purpose for storing and the authorized basis for correcting and correcting your personal data if it is incorrect.

If it is considered that we do not process your personal data in accordance with the rules in the Data Protection Act, it is possible to complain to the Data Protection Authority.
